Where Can I Put This Wreath in My Home?

Adding this to your front door is obvious, but sometimes that’s not the only place you want to add decorations. This can fit into a ton of different places around your home and can be used not just as a wreath but as a part of your home decor. Below are some ideas that I have and think will look great with this wreath.

  • Prop or hang on the mantle above your fireplace.
  • Lay down flat and add a vase of black or orange flowers in the middle as part of a Halloween centerpiece.
  • Hang from the ceiling so the wreath is flat and the eyeballs are staring down at you.
  • Include in spooky haunted house decorations.

Variations of This Wreath

It seems like a pretty easy option to make, but you may find that you want to add a little something extra to your wreath. If that’s the case, then you might want to check out some of the fun ideas below that really add a bit of something extra to your eyeball wreath. Get creative and make this your own.

  • Use a red paint pen or marker to add veins to look like bloodshot eyeballs.
  • Add spray glitter onto the eyeballs so they sparkle in the light.
  • Spray the balls with glow in the dark paint to create a glowing wreath for nighttime.
  • Use black ribbon and weave around the eyeballs for a spookier look.
  • Spray pain the balls green or yellow instead of white.
  • Glue these to a metal or styfrofoam wreath frame instead.

What Can I Use for the Eyeballs?

I picked up a cheap pack of ping pong balls at my local Dollar Tree for my wreath. They are affordable, durable, and perfect for this since I don’t have to worry about painting them. If you don’t want to use those, there are other options that can work for this wreath.

Some of the other ideas I think would work great for making the eyeballs are golf balls. They may be a bit bumpy, but you could clean them up and use them for an added unique touch. Other choices include miniature styrofoam balls, a few white pom poms, homemade yarn pom poms, or even ornaments you’ve painted white..

What Glue Can I Use If Kids are Making This?

If you don’t want to use a hot glue gun with kids making this eyeball wreath, that’s totally understandable. I’ve used simple kids craft glue like Elmer’s glue before, but if you want the pieces to stick for longer, I recommend a good craft glue. I usually reach for E6000, but a cheaper and easier option would be Arlene’s tacky glue. All are readily available at dollar stores and craft stores.
